MyMemory – Machine + Human

MyMemory is a translation tools from translated.net that combined machine + human edited translation online. Think of it as Google Translate + Wikipedia article edit feature. Honestly, sometimes I feel that the machine-type translation engine could result to a  mistranslation to a certain phrase. Among two of the most used machine translation engine , Systran and Google Translate, none of them would perfectly translate one into another language, which is normal since it is machine powered.

So how is MyMemory “Cyborg” method could change the future of automated translation since they using Google Translate, Systran and Wordlingo as their machine translation engine ? We will find out soon.

AlertX – Uptime Track

Well, there are various web host provider, but it is still hard to determine which is the best by just looking at their testimonial since it could be biased. With any tracking tools available on the net, you could easily determine which one is good and which one is a bad web host provider.

Sneebly – When 140 is too Much

140 characters is way too much for Sneebly by providing a tiny 120 characters count. So what is Sneebly anyway ? Sneebly is a free “micro geo-blogging” site where you can post 120 or less character updates based on a set location. In other way, Twitter kind of service but added with a map in one single interface.
