MissUpload – Upload and Get Paid
MissUpload is a file hosting provider offering online storage/remote backup capacity, sophisticated uploading and downloading tools. With MissUpload you can host files, images, videos, audio and flash on the same place.
I. Landing Page
What’s Good :
- An option between registering or not although I advised to register to get the most feature out of it , this again related to the point mentioned after this.
What’s Bad :
- My fear of spam, read their Privacy Policy
We may email you from time to time regarding your account at MissUpload.com, news from MissUpload.com, and occasional offers from MissUpload.com.
- Question for their quoted sentence : What kind of occasional offers do they send to users ? Does users have an option not to receive any news update and offers and just concentrating for email regarding their account ?
II. Features
What’s Good :
- MissUpload is a freemium service, but their registration (which is free) plan already offered you an amazing list of features.
- RapidShare Leech (although I’m worried this feature won’t stay too long)
- Remote Upload
- $10 per 1000 unique download
- Low minimum pay-out ( $10 )
- Referral Program
- Nice Uploader
- Automatically generate a shortened URL for you
What’s Bad :
- This is not something bad, but more to a question. I assumed that MissUpload is owned by Singaporean based people (reading from their shortened URL, miss.sg and the admin ability to speak in Chinese), so is it in US$ or SG$ for the reward program ? since they exclusively adding USD as the prefix for their premium program but not using any kind of sign for their reward program.
- Intrusive Pop-up window when someone click or copy to browser and run the download link.
III. Verdict
MissUpload is a very interesting file sharing service with their reward program. Although this concept is not pretty new, their easy to use uploading system and RapidShare leeching is a nice add-on feature.
