I. Landing Page
What’s Good :
- Lovely Design!
- Fast to load
What’s Bad :
- Making me spent 15 minutes thinking what’s the minus point for the landing page, which is none.
II. Features
What’s Good :
- Amazing integration with Facebook, you can reply to status update, creating a status update, view images, all in one page.
- Integration with Twitter
- Youtube search and watch directly from the dashboard
- Feed Reader integration
- NetFlix Integration
- Discussion Room
- Global updates (Your friend updates) with map
What’s Bad :
- Thanks to Pip.Io, I don’t think I’m going to check my Facebook page that often anymore
- The Twitter section lacks characters counter
- Youtube section doesn’t use any log-in mechanism, resulting you won’t be able to comment to any videos.
- Sometimes it took so long to load the Feed Reader or Facebook wall
- Twitter status update delay in Pip.Io for a few seconds, but this one is minor :)
- Transparent PNG support for the profile picture with black background
Would be Better If :
- Add an ability to have photo albums in sync with Facebook
- Google Search (I can already see Google logo in there)
- Email client feature
Minor wish from me :
- Clipping tools for Bookmarking purpose or just simply taking a note from sources in Internet.
III. Verdict
Pipio, ladies and gentlemen, is the killer tool for your daily social networking management. If they added an Email client feature, I will bet that this web application is going to be the next legend in a no time.
The drawback ? Currently invite only, but worry not, Anggackt will soon have an Invitation Giveaway for Pipio.
