Brew-a-Talk helps you share thoughts and engage with friends & family. Start new talks, see what others are talking about and participate in friends’ discussions, easily !

I. Landing Page

Brew-a-Talk - Landing Page

I like the landing page a lot, simple and uses soft color that looks perfect for my eyes. There’s no integrated sign-up so you’ll have to do it manually.

Once you register you will be given an option to invite your friends over to Brew-a-Talk. You may skip it if you wanted to.

II. Dashboard

  • They will convert transparent PNG into JPG with black background
  • No characters counter available. Unlimited characters perhaps ?
  • Tagging option
III. Features

To start using Brew-a-Talk, just use the input box and add some tag into it.

Brew-a-Talk - Features

It really looks like a micro discussion board to me. But I have found some features missing from my point of view.

  • No Favorites
  • I wish I could click New Talks from other user page to see what topic he/she had created before
  • A group ability so that I could managed all my friends and decided which one may or may not accessing my talks.
IV. Verdict

Brew-a-Talk does have some potential although still in beta phase. But the competition in this field is harsh, even when Brew-a-Talk offers something different, a micro discussion board, which unfortunately, have a direct competition with Lissn, a more mature service with real-time conversation.
