October 13th, 2009 — 12:15am | Author : Anangga Pratama

Biscuit Tin is a web app that could lift your flicker picture viewing experience by a major boost with an interactive flash based operation.

So how does it looks like ? let’s try it out to see how cool Biscuit Tin is.

I. Landing Page

Biscuit Tin - Landing Page

Well, I actually don’t like Flash component very much, but I have to admit, Biscuit-Tin make it so beautiful and still doesn’t forget the element of simplicity and fast landing page load time.

No registration needed, so all you have to do is to input any Flickr user-name on it. Let’s try it with my brother Flickr account.

III. Features

Once you input the user-name and clicking “GO” and wait for a bit, you will see a new page with a tin can consisting of your random pictures from your Flickr account.

To start the main feature of Biscuit Tin, just drag the top picture with your mouse to the middle of the screen, here’s what you get by doing that.

Just click one of the picture to enlarge it, and click it again to see the file information. You could also rearrange the spread pictures by dragging it to anywhere you want it to, except for certain hidden area and the chair.

IV. Verdict

Biscuit Tin can act as a great alternative for showing off your Flickr picture gallery to your friends. Although the time it took to generate the random pictures could take a while on a slow internet connection, Biscuit Tin is still a bookmarked service on my browser.

There’s an iPhone application available too, but I don’t test it yet since I don’t have the medium.
