MotionPortrait – From Japan

October 9th, 2009 — 5:58pm | Author : Anangga Pratama

Motion Portrait is a face photograph editor from Japan which incorporate some crazy and hilarious effect. Based on Flash, Motion Portrait could be used just for fun or to experienced some jaw dropping moment that I will describe right after this.

I. Landing Page

Landing Page

It is based on flash, but unbelievably fast to load. All I can say about the landing page is how the hell they made that 3D face based on a picture ?

II. Feature

The real deal about this app is the ability to upload your own picture, just click the change button, click upload, wait for a bit, and see how MotionPortrait changed that into a 3D view, a total jaw dropping moment when I tried to upload a picture of mine.

And after that, you could add some funny effect, such as terminator style face, devil horn and many more. Or you could just click on the random button (the blue circle button below your 3D picture) to generate a random effect. You could also save your work as a static picture by clicking the camera button.

III. Verdict

I will classified MotionPortrait not just as a creative based web app but also a game web app. Since there’s a lot of effect to choose from and the jaw dropping 3D face moment. This is a total fun web app and don’t worry about the language, it is easy to navigate in there. Note : I missed the option for setting up your face position for the static image, but that’s okay, it is minor for me :)

I can’t describe how good this application is with just picture, so here it is, the video demo :
