September 24th, 2009 — 12:05am | Author : Anangga Pratama

Do you still remember polaroid-o-nizer ?, I do. The legend of Polaroid generator/maker continues in the hand of Rollip. Does Rollip got a chance to continue the banned (if not, illegal) Polaroid-o-Nizer ? Or is it going to fall just like another polaroid generator that is not as good as Polaroid-o-Nizer ? We will find out after this review.

Polaroid-o-nizer

Ahh…the tragic Polaroid-o-Nizer , the best polaroid generator script ever available on the web. Polaroid, instead of supporting them, decided to go on a war to delete every single web app that provided Polaroid-o-Nizer script. Thus, the extinction of Polaroid-o-Nizer.

After Polaroid-o-Nizer, emerge a handful of polaroid generators with a not so Polaroid looking results, Polaroid-o-Nizer still gives you the best result when it comes to the term of Polaroid look a like.

And now, comes Rollip, the newest addition to the Polaroid generator stuff.

Rollip - Create Polaroids from your photos!

Rollip landing page is fast to load, although I have to admit, I don’t like their Click Here to Start button. Rollip also provided a lot of image effects, text and frame effects, something that Polaroid-o-Nizer never have in its short lifespan.

Let’s try to compare Rollip and Polaroid-o-Nizer

It’s pretty hard to compare these two. Polaroid-o-Nizer offers you x and y coordinate along with rotation angle, while Rollip offers some great effect, including frame and text effect. But in the end, I have to choose one between these two. And my choice goes to Rollip.

If only Rollip supports rotation angle, it would be a hands down win for Rollip. At long last, Polaroid-o-Nizer now can rest in his long slumber for eternity, but its legacy still continues, in the hand of Rollip. Thank you Polaroid-o-Nizer and welcome Rollip :) .

Note : Just pray that Polaroid didn’t sue Rollip…
