Whispurr’s Video is Up!
A great news coming from Whispurr, the long awaited Video Whisp is now ready to use. Not only that, some other change is already done and a lot more new features is now being developed.
So what’s new in Whispurr from my latest review ? Read more below
First of all , the video whisp feature is still in previewing phase, it is not yet stable and still got some kinks that needs to be addressed. But you may use it as a previewing tool for now.
How to record a video in Whispurr? It is pretty easy, just click on the option link above your Whisp Message input, and then choose record video. Once done with the video, a new overlayed “Save” button is now shown over the video, click it, and you are done. Choose your Video Whisp target, be it public or private, added some whisp intro into it, click Whisp, and you are done, Your first ever Whisp Video. Just click watch to watch the video.
The video is limited to 30 seconds, but you don’t have to worry, the recording phase got a counter in it, so you would know when to stop yapping.
What’s new again ? the font-type now have change to a better choice, Trebuchet MS. The Whisp thread is now more compact and more easier to read.
So what do I think about the Video Whisp ? It is easy to use, although there are some kinks needs to be done, such as :
- When the video ended, clicking the play button just once won’t work, you have to click it twice to make it work, and then the video just stopped.
- Pausing a Video will make the player stopped.
But hey, maybe this is just because of my crappy internet connection. Yes Telkom Speedy, I hope one of you guys read my blog and realized how slow your internet connection speed is, 30++ USD for a 128Kbps speed after a “fair-use” 3GB bandwith ? Totally rip-off.
All in all, the video whisp is such a nice feature that it makes me smiled over and over when trying it.
There is a lot more to come in Whispurr, and to tell you the truth, I can’t wait to see more. They haven’t got the feedback form yet, but with the developer team active in responding any feedback and suggestion through Whispurr, there is still no need for one. But once Whispurr matured, and there’s a ton of idea coming from thousands of users, a feedback form is a must.
Note : I just hoped that another beta/new web apps in the future will see how Whispurr development team works, they just go down the road, talks and interact with their users, discuss matters with their users. They won’t hesitate asking what kind of feature needs to be add, what kind of suggestion one would have, what you don’t like about Whispurr, anything, as long as it gives them impact for future development. They are just so down to earth. Kudos to them.
