Loogix – Animated GIF Creator
Creating animated GIF manually could be a hassle for some user. The steep learning curve to create a nice effect could lead to frustration and stress.
But with the help of Loogix, creating an animated GIF could be done in just a few clicks. Loogix also gives you another nice feature with effects. Some of the effects available :
- Zoom
- Recusion
- Radial Blur
- Painting
- Black / White
- Motley
- And many much more
The landing page will gives you a little sneak peak of what Loogix could do. I prefer if they put the demo in another page rather than in the initial landing page for a faster access.
Yes, it is Mr.Bean. I don’t know if Rowan Atkinson owns Loogix or just an actor promoting the service. But It is pretty entertaining to see him there nonetheless, considering it’s been a long time since I watch Bean or Atkinson’s other movies.
So, let’s move on with generating the image. Upload 2 or more images, choose your size (max 400px) , and click generate, that’s all…,Wait a second, where the heck is the effect ?? “Oh,You can applied the effect in the generator screen”, that’s what I thought at first.
Applying an effect could not be done on your generated animated GIF automatically. Save your generated animated GIF first, and then click on the Apply Effect text. After that, upload your saved animated GIF, choose your effect, and click create (again). Which resulting a bad bad bad….result. the only solution is to upload a static picture to create a nice effect. The animated GIF below is the result of my eagerness to prove that the effect can also be applied on the generated animated GIF, which is wrong.
All in all, a not so perfect service. Not to mention, no text editing. It is just a simple way to generate an animated GIF , starter edition.But for me…Meh, I prefer just to use my old school Adobe ImageReady to make one.
