Web Hosting Comparison

August 31st, 2009 — 1:31pm | Author : Anangga Pratama

There is this case when a friend of mine is really confused for which hosting company will give you the most cheap solution ever for a dedicated server for his -soon to come- own new hosting company. He doesn’t care anything at all about the service or any other thing. He is the “I’m not a tech-savvy, just give me the cheapest solution” – kind of guy. Only two easy requirement :

  1. Cheap.
  2. And managed by the service providers.

As someone who is really picky at things sometimes, I really took my time to find the best one that match his preference. But thanks to HostMonk , I’ve managed to find it easier than I thought.

I just compared all available hosting solution on HostMonk and chose the Managed Solution with the lowest price available. Then started a New Search.

Voila, a 50 USD solution , based on Pennsylvania and a very low low low low end specification for a server. Click the “Find reviews” to find reviews about the hosting company through a custom Google search, or, click “See it” and it will open a new tab that will redirect you to the official website for the hosting company.

HostMonk doesn’t give you a detail comparison between one provider pitted against another provider. HostMonk gives you a nice way to search for hosting providers that matched to your taste. Up until now, HostMonk only able to search for Dedicated Servers and VPS. They are saying that the shared solution will be up soon. Unfortunately, I’ve seen that “Coming Soon” words since months ago.

And for those who wondering about my friend I mentioned earlier. He decided to canceled the whole ordeal , realizing he need an employee working in support.
